About the course

This Level 3 Hairdressing course is designed for learners who already hold a Level 2 qualification and want to advance their skills in cutting, colouring and creative hair services. You will build confidence in delivering professional salon services while developing the technical and customer service skills needed for a successful career in the hairdressing industry.

The course is delivered at our Filton campus in South Gloucestershire, with additional provision at our Stroud campus in the centre of Gloucestershire, both offering excellent transport links.

Course content

You will develop advanced practical and professional skills, including:

  • Creative cutting and styling techniques
  • Advanced hair colouring and colour correction
  • Client consultation and service planning
  • Creative hair design and finishing techniques
  • Working with different hair types and styles
  • Building professional salon skills and client care

You will also gain experience working in a realistic salon environment.
