You wil cover a range of specialist techniques to enhance your skills and prepare you for a successful career in the beauty industry. Modules covered may include Face and Body Electrical Treatments, where you'll learn how to use electrical equipment to improve skin and body conditions, and Body Massage, focusing on techniques for relaxation and therapeutic benefits. You'll also explore Microdermabrasion, a popular skin resurfacing treatment, as well as Anatomy and Physiology, providing you with a deeper understanding of the body and its systems to support your practical work

A key requirement for obtaining many jobs is to achieve a good standard of English and maths. Therefore learners that do not yet have a GCSE grade C will be enrolled on either GCSE or Functional Skills programmes alongside their course.

The skills gained from this course will enable you to work in a spa, beauty salon or cruise ship, or even start up your own business.

You will have three GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, and you will have successfully completed Level 2 Beauty Therapy. Alongside this, learners must be able to demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and communication skills.
