• Makeup application and hair styling basics
• Wedding and editorial makeup and hair, including creative techniques and cultural wedding practices.
• How to make your first steps into the makeup industry

How is the course delivered and assessed?
This course is delivered face to face through practical demonstrations, tutor-led workshops, and individual hands-on practices. You’ll be assessed through practical observations, a portfolio of evidence, and written assignments. Support is provided throughout to help you meet the course requirements at your own pace.
What do I need to join (Entry Requirements)
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age at the start of the academic year, to attend this course.
Additional information
There will be an additional cost to the course, which will require self-funding (or if a bursary is awarded the finances can be used for this). You will need to provide your own hair and makeup kit, this can be purchased from local outlets or online, appx cost of £150. We will send out nearer to the start of the course the items required, but if you require further information before hand, please email: [email protected].
The college does have some kit which can used/provide if you are unable to purchase all the kit. You can also order an MUA t-shirt to wear while on the course, this can be sourced once the course starts.
