How is the course delivered and assessed?
Through a combination of hands-on experimentation and expert guidance, you'll embark on a creative journey that encourages exploration and discovery. Learn various techniques and methods of repurposing textiles, guided by an experienced instructor who will provide demonstrations and one-on- one support
What do I need to join (Entry Requirements)
There are no formal assessments. Students will work towards a personal Tailored Learning Outcome regarding their physical health, mental health and developing stronger communities. During the beginning of the course, the tutor will spend 1:1 time with students to determine which learning outcome they would like to work towards.
Pricing tiers
These courses are delivered under the government Tailored Learning Scheme. They are limited to one Wellbeing course per term (excluding online) The courses are part-funded and therefore means / benefit tested, and fees may still apply. Below is our sliding scale table of tiered costings depending on your financial situation. All of these costs are at the part-funded price. £0 Free - low income below £23,400, JSA, ESA, UC cap: joint claim £988, sole claim £617 £40 - carers allowance, PIP, state pensions, Attendance allowance, Income under 27k, evidence of food bank vouchers, UC cap: joint £1188, sole £817 £50 - income 27 – 30k £75 - income over 30k
