Designed to enhance well-being through slow, sustainable methods, each week explores a different alternative creative process using recycled and natural materials. Sessions include pottery, working with natural pigments, sewing, cyanotype printing, paper-making, and more. With a strong focus on sustainability, each project fosters a deeper connection to nature and a more sustainable creative journey. By the end of the course, students will have created a unique collection of handmade items, perfect for continuing self-expression and a lasting sense of creative accomplishment. Ideal for anyone seeking a restorative and eco-conscious approach to creativity.

Course content
Discover the art of making your own paints from sustainable, natural materials while learning to craft a personalised palette using reclaimed clay. Dive deeper into sustainable practices by creating your own handmade paper, which you’ll bind into a beautifully crafted mini sketchbook. Finally, explore the enchanting process of cyanotype nature printing, where the beauty of the natural world comes to life in your prints. This course is your opportunity to embrace creativity, sustainability, and the joy of making something truly unique.

They are limited to one Wellbeing course per term (excluding online) The courses are part-funded and therefore means / benefit tested, and fees may still apply. Below is our sliding scale table of tiered costings depending on your financial situation.
