Staff, athletes and coaches from across the SGS Sport Academies came together on Friday evening to celebrate an exceptional year of achievement, dedication and success at the Spitfire Hangar in Bristol.
The event recognised the outstanding accomplishments of student-athletes, teams and coaching staff across a wide range of sports. From impressive performances in competition to consistent commitment in training and academic study, the evening highlighted the hard work and determination demonstrated throughout the year.
Awards were presented to individuals and teams who have excelled both on and off the field, reflecting the strong culture of ambition, resilience and teamwork across the academies.
Speaking after the event, Alex Gaiger, Executive Director of Curriculum and Quality, said:
"It was great to celebrate the achievements of our Academy students. I am always blown away by how these students balance academic study alongside training and competing at elite level, often with incredibly full weeks. Their dedication and commitment are admirable and a real reminder of what excellence looks like in practice."
The evening also reflected the SGS College strategy outcome of Achievement, demonstrating how the Sport Academies support students to excel, progress and reach their full potential in both sport and study.
