The Core Rule

If you normally study or work at Stroud, WISE, or Bristol School of Art, do not come to campus after 5pm on Tuesday. All standard lessons and activities are moving online.

🎒 For Students & Parents

  • Campuses Closing: Stroud, WISE, and Bristol School of Art Queen's Road close Tuesday at 5pm and reopen Friday morning.
  • Exams: All scheduled exams will still go ahead on campus as planned unless your tutor explicitly contacts you with changes. Plan your travel, wear light clothing, and bring water.
  • Filton Campus Taster Days: Wednesday morning Taster Days, from 9am to 12pm, are still on. The campus has air conditioning and hydration stations. Filton will close entirely on Thursday.
  • Horizon Campus for Apprentices: Remains open as normal for block release and assessments only. Air conditioning and water stations are available.
  • Free School Meals: Eligible students can collect sandwiches from the canteen beforehand to cover Wednesday and Thursday.

💼 For Staff

  • Remote Working: Unless you are directly required on-site to facilitate scheduled exams, Filton Taster Days on Wednesday morning, or Horizon apprentice blocks and assessments, you should work from home during the closure period.
  • Support Continuity: Safeguarding and Additional Learning Support teams remain fully operational remotely to support students.
