With an emphasis on work-based learning, this course provides an ideal opportunity to gain an academic qualification and enhanced professional development for those working in, or aspiring to work in, or with, schools or an education setting. You will get the best of both worlds by successfully combining learning 'on the job' and college attendance for one day per week, for a formal qualification whilst in employment. What do I need to join?
48 UCAS points from a range of Level 3 qualifications and GCSE Maths and English Language at C grade (or equivalent). Mature students (over the age of 21) without formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis..
What are my career options?
Students who successfully complete the programme may apply and progress onto our BA (Hons) Education and Learning level 6 'top-up' to achieve the full bachelors qualification. Students may also progress within the sector to a supervisory/management position.
