How will I learn?
The course is taught in workshops sessions which make up 35 hours of your learning, at our Filton campus. You will be given workbooks, as part of the course, to be able to continue with self-study. Followed by a three-hour exam. Workshop dates: Workshop 1 09/09/2024 Workshop 2 23/09/2024 Workshop 3 30/09/2024 Workshop 4 07/10/2024 Workshop 5 14/10/2024 EXAM 28/10/2024 During the course, candidates will cover the following of Project management and the operating environment, Project life cycle, Management structures by which projects operate, Project management planning, Scope management, Scheduling and resource management, Risk management and issue management, Project equality management, Communication, Leadership and teamwork.
Entry Requirements
To join the course, you require a good level of Maths and English. You need to have an interest in project management and the topics discussed. You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience on the subject. A successful interview and assessment will be required before you are confirmed onto the course. You will need to register with the awarding body for an associate membership, for a cost of £159. Giving you access to APM Community, tools and resources. This is a requirement to allow us to schedule your exams.

Course fees explained
The course fee is usually broken down into three components which are materials (resources required to study the course, for example stationery, books and other equipment), tuition (teaching, classroom etc) and exams. Depending on age, financial circumstances and a number of other factors, you could be asked to pay the full fee or just elements of it. Usually Learners under 19 studying Full-Time courses have just material fees, and if relevant, Academy fees, to pay. Over 19s on Full-Time or Part-Time courses usually have materials, exams and tuition fees to pay.
