AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff; it has over 125,000 members in more than 90 countries worldwide. AAT qualifications provide Accounting Technician status. Accounting Technicians work at all levels of finance, from accounts clerks to finance directors.
This qualification is perfect for young people and those taking their first step on the career ladder or those who are returning to work. As well as covering the basic accounting techniques and principles, you’ll gain a broader understanding of the business environment and how to prepare for entering the world of work. During this course, you will be covering topics such as; preparing for work, sales and purchases in business, using numbers in business.

How will I learn?
You will be required to attend college once a week for a 3-hour session. Learning will take place in a classroom environment in college. There will be an assessment, which is one computer-based examination.
Candidates don’t require any formal qualification or experience to study the AAT Access Award in Business Skills, however we recommend you enjoy working with numbers and be literate and numerate.
