AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and membership body for accounting and finance staff, with over 125,000 members in more than 90 countries worldwide. AAT qualifications provide Accounting Technician status. Accounting Technicians work at all levels of finance, from accounts clerks to finance directors. The Level 3 Diploma is for candidates who have successfully completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate, or who have previous accounting qualifications and a good understanding of basic accounting. During the course candidates will cover a number of topics including advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, management accounting (costing), indirect tax, professional ethics for accounts and spreadsheet software.
What do I need to join?
Candidates will normally have successfully achieved the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping prior to enrolling and also require a level 2 in Maths & English (A to C Grade GCSE or equivalent). The course is also open to others who can demonstrate prior bookkeeping experience through a successful interview and assessment.
