Summary
To apply for this course you need to be
- Aged 16-18 (or up to 24 with EHCP)
- Able to tolerate working in small groups
- You may suffer from anxiety and/or be struggling with Mental Health issues
The focus is moving into adulthood including Independent Living and Employability – .
You may study from 1-2 years and will be in college three days a week. You may be working from Entry Level 3 to Level 2.
The curriculum is designed to build personal and social skills, overcome barriers to learning, improve your resilience and self belief and prepare learners to work or study at a higher level. The curriculum includes independent living skills in our training kitchen and flat, Social Communication skills, vocational tasters, horticulture, employability, creative arts, community use and volunteering.
Students are offered Work Experience, Enrichment (interest activities) and are supported
through regular tutorials.
