The T Level in Content Creation and Development is designed to ensure that learners have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to succeed in the Digital Industry. The emphasis of the programme is to prepare you for a career in software production and design. The T Level in Content Creation and Development covers: the ethical and moral implications of digital technology, using data in software design, using digital technologies to analyse and solve problems, digital environments, emerging technical trends, legal and regulatory obligations, the planning of digital projects and the testing of hardware and software.
How will I learn?
T Levels are demanding and an appetite for independent study is essential. There is a significant amount of Theory and also Industry Placement. Some of the methods you will learner through are Theory classes with regular written assessments to complete, Examination and evaluation of Content and Development case studies, working with others to present information internally in college and externally, Careers talks and Industry updating from employers, Industry Placement Information gathering, and evaluation of external projects.
Applicants will need to possess or have predicted 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above to include GCSE English Language and GCSE maths. Due to the nature of the qualification and study, GCSEs in Art and Design, IT or media may prove beneficial.
