Message from the Head of Academic Studies

Developing your confidence and fluency in maths is really important and at SGS we recognise the value in supporting people to develop this essential life skill. The functional skills qualification is designed to enable you to develop a number of basic skills including number properties, factions, decimals, measurements and handling data. At the end of the course you should be much more confident in applying these skills to everyday scenarios. We will be providing regular support and guidance, so please don't panic if you are finding it difficult. These are challenging times for everyone and we look forward to supporting you to achieve your qualification. - Mark A Jones (Head of Academic Studies)
