Our partnership for our UpSkillED Early Years courses is with Snapdragons Nursery. Snapdragons is a family run business with nurseries throughout Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire. Snapdragons will be delivering an inspirational talk, while also supporting our learners with sessions on interview techniques and also returning to offer interviews to learners attending the course.
The inspirational talk for this course is being delivered by National Nursery Award 2020 nominee Anna Gent, as well as other industry experts. There will also be an information and guidance session on how to progress onto our Level 2 courses.
How will I learn?
During this course you will learn all the important transferable skills as well as sector specific training, all of which will help you gain employment and is delivered using engaging classroom activities, workbooks and discussion groups. Industry expert talks are also provided by local employers to give you an insight into the industry and inspire you to consider the sector as a career choice.
You may be asked to complete a short initial literacy assessment prior to starting, as learners will be required to have basic literacy skills (Level 1) to successfully complete this course.
