Summary

This course is for electricians, designers and inspectors.The qualification covers the full content of BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition. The regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, and also additions and alterations to existing installations.

The depth of the course will vary depending on whether you have enrolled on the short version or full delivery model.

How will I know how I am doing?

Candidates will take one online, 60-question, multiple-choice exam at the end of the course.

What do I need to join?

No formal requirements, but you must be able to understand and use technical language associated with the electrical industry.

What can I do next?

After successful completion, you can progress onto an EAL Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations or EAL qualifications in inspection and testing.

COURSE FEES
Please be aware this course does have a fee that is payable on enrolment, if you require financial support including payment plans, bursaries and advanced learner loans please visit the Money Management Service.

Please be aware that if you only have the 17th Edition you will need to do the three day training to do a full 18th Edition (£500). If you have already done an 18th Edition but just require the amendments you can do the one day course (£250).
