This course is for electricians, designers and inspectors. The qualification covers the full content of BS 7671: IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition. The regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, and also additions and alterations to existing installations. The depth of the course will vary depending on whether you have enrolled on the short version or full delivery model. The short version of the course runs as a 1-day option on a Thursday, with an online exam on a Friday, and costs £250. The full version is a 3-day option on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with an online exam on a Friday, and costs £500.
What do I need to join?
No formal requirements, but you must be able to understand and use technical language associated with the electrical industry.
How will I know how I am doing?
Candidates will take one online 60-question multiple-choice exam at the end of the course.
What can I do next?
After successful completion, you can progress onto an EAL Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations or EAL qualifications in inspection and testing.Apply for this course
