This course has 35 guided learning hours and is for candidates who wish to carry out formal visual inspections and inspections and tests of electrical equipment, or for electricians who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills. You will cover the skills and knowledge required to carry out the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The course runs on a Thursday and Friday. The total cost of the course is £250.

What do I need to join?

No formal requirements, but you must be able to understand and use technical language associated with the electrical industry.

How will I know how I am doing?

Candidates will sit one online multiple-choice exam and undertake practical assessments.

What can I do next?

After successful completion, you can progress onto the EAL 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
