Summary
This course provides you with an excellent route for entering a career in the IT industry or higher education. With the support of our experienced and committed teaching team, you will gain knowledge of a range of areas, including IT support, troubleshooting and maintenance, networking, programming, web development and graphic design. You will also gain a background understanding of computer and information systems, as well as many other practical skills.
How will I know how I am doing?
This course will be assessed using a range of word-processed assignments and externally marked exams.
What do I need to join?
You will be expected to have achieved a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above.

Work Experience
You will be expected to complete a 36-hour work placement.
What can I do next?
Learners can progress onto a university-level course (either internally or externally) or apprenticeship, or move directly into employment.
