Have you found yourself once again at home during Lockdown and need to escape for a while? Whilst at this time, we are advised to stay inside as much as possible, this has the consequence of many people at home wondering how to fill time.
Maybe you would like a project to focus on, so why not increase your IT skills in this ever-increasing and developing digital world.
Over 4 weeks, this free IT qualification will be split into modules where you will cover subjects such as:
- Using devices and handling information
- Creating and editing, communicating, keeping in touch with loved ones through video calls
- How to make transactions/shop and bank online
- Being safe and responsible online and protecting yourself against online fraud
This is an ideal course for you to take your first steps with your IT skills and will give you confidence and knowledge to navigate your way through technology and make it work for you and your day to day life.
The course is delivered in an environment of support and at a pace suited to
you with a supportive tutor who will be there every step of the way.
So use your time well, learning new skills can be beneficial for maintaining mental wellbeing while in isolation, as well as giving you a task to focus on that isn’t work or family.

What do I need to join?

How will I learn?
This 4 week course involves 2 classes per week in our virtual classroom. The tutor will demonstrate and guide you through the modules and there will be plenty of time for independent practice in a safe environment. For more informatino on how you will learn email [email protected].
What can I do next?
Starting at Entry Level 3 you can then continue once completed to also gain a Level 1 qualification as an option should you wish. For more information on what you can do next email [email protected].

Teams allows learners and teachers to seamlessly work together, create content and share resources from a single, easy-to-learn and simple platform. On successful enrolment onto this course you will be provided with all the details required to set up Teams.
