Yoga is ageless. It’s about self-awareness and working to your own body’s limit. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation, whilst focusing on strength and flexibility. It can help to improve your health and happiness as well as boosting physical and mental well-being. The main components of yoga are postures, which are a series of movements led by the instructor. The course is beginner/intermediate level and I encourage everyone to take the class at their own pace. It’s not a fast flow class and there are plenty of modifications and adaptions offered. If you need to rest, the instructor will show you the pose to rest in. The class is mixed and each person gets something different from it.
What do I need to join?
Yoga mats are not supplied. We do have a few available, but they will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you have your own, please bring it along. If you would like to purchase one then we would recommend you do so.Apply for this course
