This course is for people who want to be more sustainable and resilient in terms of diet, health, exercise, money and connection to the webs and cycles of nature. No space is too small to get started. Even just a window sill could get you started and growing your own produce for a better quality of life.
You will learn the following during this free 12 week online course:
- Why we grow
- Designs for success and prepping your growing space
- Planning the year ahead
- Looking after your crop and using/storing what you grow
What you grow is up to you, this could be anything from tomatoes to salad leaves to berries and apples. We will explore the options together via 1:1 tutor support sessions. The course is designed for those who love fresh produce but are not sure where to start.
How will I learn?
With this course we have brought the classroom to you and created an 12 week interactive online learning environment. These sessions are never pre-recorded and like in a classroom you will have a teacher and other students interacting with you live on set teaching dates. Allowing you to ask questions and gain skills all without leaving your desk.

This course has no entry requirements however you must be 19 or over and will require access to a home computer that can connect to the internet to access our online learning platform.
