Summary
This course is a progression from the beginners Spanish course and is for anyone who is interested in learning for travel or just for pleasure. If you have prior experience of speaking Spanish and would like to add depth to your linguistic skills, this also may be the course for you.
On this course you will learn:
- How to provide personal information, talking about what you do and when you do things, talking about your routine and working day.
- How to Talk about leisure interests and planning activities, enquiring about renting a property, talking about going on holiday and past holidays, saying how you are feeling and describing symptoms, making suggestions.
By the end of the three terms, you should be able to travel to your chosen country and communicate confidently at an intermediate level.
How will I know how I am doing?
There is no formal assessment, but your tutor will give lots of supportive feedback on your progress.
How will I learn?
This course is an online virtual learning course. This allows us to bring the classroom to you and create an interactice online learning environment. With the majority of sessions being live and like in a classroom you will have a teacher and other students interacting with you live on set teaching dates. Allowing you to ask questions and gain skills all without leaving your desk.

What can I do next?
We do offer a Spanish Year 3 course which is available for learners who have completed Year 2 or have a very good knowledge or experience of the Spanish language.

Please note that our languages courses will be taught online in term one to ensure the safe welfare of our learners. Due to this we have removed the fee for the first term of the course.

COURSE FEES
Term 1 of this course is free however term 2
and 3 have a cost attached. An addtional fee may be payable
for learners outside of the EU on production of a valid visa.

The choosen platform
for the online elements of this course is Microsoft Teams. Teams
allows learners and teachers to seamlessly work together, create content and
share resources from a single, easy-to-learn and simple platform. On successful
enrolment onto this course you will be provided with all the details required to
set up Teams.
ONLINE ENROLMENT
This course offers simpler and safer
online enrolment requests, which means in a matter of minutes you can
submit an enrolment request to us. However please be aware that upon submitting
your enrolment form you are not guaranteed to be accepted. A number of our
courses including Advanced Spanish require assessments, qualification checks or
simply a conversation with you before we can confirm your enrolment.
