Lockdown has seen many parents/carers taking the new and unpaid role of teacher in the home. The added pressure of entertaining, educating and managing a home can take its toll and leave little time for fun and imaginative activities.
This FREE 4 week course aims to support you as parents/carers and take some of the pressure off by providing you with a toolkit of fun activities which can be done together as well as supporting your child’s learning and development.
Our tutor will guide you through various activities in our virtual online class, whilst you and your children can interact with each other through a number of craft activities designed for you all to have fun together and learn new skills.
Our boredom busting sessions will include:
- Making and using your own dough
- Painting – using different techniques such as bubbles
- Creating your own homemade puppets using items in the house
- Messy time – making homemade goop/jelly
Whatever age you or your children are, creative activities are great for confidence, coordination, social and mental and physical wellbeing which has never been more important.
What do I need to join?
Upon enrolment, a kit list of the types of things you will need will be sent to you. Sessions will be a max of 90 mins to allow for wandering minds.
How will I learn?
With this course we have brought the classroom to you and created a interactive online learning environment. These sessions are never pre-recorded and like in a classroom you will have a teacher and other students interacting with you live on set teaching dates. Allowing you to ask questions and gain skills all without leaving your desk.
