Summary

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world and is often used as a 'gateway' to learn other languages due to many similarities to other European languages such as Italian, French and Portuguese. After studying this course, you should be able to do the following in Spanish:

  • Provide personal information, greetings, courtesies and introductions.
  • Buy food, drink and clothes, travel and ask for directions, book accommodation.

By the end of the course, you should be able to travel to your chosen country and communicate confidently at a basic level.
