Course content

The course is designed around projects that explore a variety of disciplines, including drawing, printmaking, painting, installation and sculpture. These projects are based on topical and contextual themes, preparing you for the type of work you will encounter in your professional future.

Throughout the year, you will create 2D, 3D, and time-based work, culminating in a summative, self-directed project that allows you to showcase your individual creativity. At the end of the year, we’ll have our School of Art exhibition to showcase all the fantastic work our students do.

As you move into the second year, you will have the opportunity to respond to projects in your preferred methods of working, enabling you to further specialise and refine your skills. This personalised approach will enable you to develop expertise in your chosen area, preparing you for more specialised roles within the creative industries.
