We are offering an exciting new 5 week jewellery taster course, which will introduce you to the techniques of Saw Piercing, making your own findings, surface pattern and filing and finishing and allow you to design and make your own pendant or earrings. The course will be taught through ‘live’ online classes with your tutor through demonstrations, guidance, feedback and opportunity for questions, as well as useful handouts to refer to ‘offline’, to help you develop your confidence with the tools and techniques. Students will be able to choose to work in either copper or silver, depending on their budget. The tutor will give you a list of the tools and materials needed for the course, where to buy them and some tips on how to adapt tools you may already have at home.
What do I need to join?
This is a beginners taster wit no experience required. It is an online course so you will need access to a computer, web cam and microphone to access the live classes and for your tutor to be able to give you support and feedback
What can I do next?
This course will tie in with the beginners course which usually runs in house, so students would be able to book onto the full beginners course when we are able to run it again. For more information please email [email protected].
