Explore your inner creativity by experimenting with traditional and alternative materials, tools, surfaces and techniques to engage the senses.  Rein-vent and expand your visual language through mark making and push your ideas and stimulate the imagination.  The emphasis of this course will be on learning through the process of drawing in order to allow spontaneity to grow.  We will look at other artists for inspiration, exercises will be given and you will have the opportunity to share your work online to the group for support and feedback.

This course is suitable for all levels of experience.

 Topics include:

  • Experimental drawing with wet and dry materials
  • Sketchbooks
  • Gathering Resources
  • Self Discovery
  • Artist References

Your tutor Juliette has worked with a wide range of materials, surfaces and techniques through her career as a TV make-up designer and art tutor.  The combination of her degrees in fine art painting; film make-up design and fine art photography have given plenty of scope to stretch the boundaries of what a drawing surface can be and her favourite art practice is to play with new possibilities.
