This course is exclusively available to members of Bristol Aztec's and Bristol Apache's.
This course is desined to provide you with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to develop your performance within your club setting.
The programme explores a range of modules including;
- Taking part in exercise and fitness for American Football
- Working in sport and active leisure
- Anatomy and physiology forAmerican Football undersanding
- Planning a healthy diet for American Footballer performance
- Career planning
- Skills for creative thinkers
- Using and communicating data for amercian football analysis
The qualification is designed for American Football Performers at any level, from beginners to advanced. You will develop an understanding of different training methods, how to improve performance, and the anatomy of an American Football performer. You will also learn about specific nutrition and how to fuel your body for success. Learners will also use basic numeracy to assess and interpret data related to your performance.
On completion of the qualification the Bristol Aztec's and Bristol Apache's American Football clubs will receive a kit package to support with the development of the community programme. A minimum sign up of 100 learners from both clubs is required. For more information email [email protected].
How will I learn?
With this course we have brought the classroom to you and created an 6-week interactive online learning environment. These sessions are never pre-recorded and like in a classroom you will have a teacher and other students interacting with you live on set teaching dates. Allowing you to ask questions and gain skills all without leaving your desk. One module will be covered per week over a 3-hour period.

This course has no entry requirements however you must be 19 or over and will require access to a home computer that can connect to the internet to access our online learning platform. You will also need to be a member of Bristol Aztec or Bristol Apache.
