SGS College has a highly successful Counselling Programme Area at our Filton and Stroud campuses and we are looking to recruit an energetic counselling lecturer to join the team. We are looking for a dedicated person who will be responsible for delivery of the Level 2 qualification in Counselling.
Duties will include organisation and teaching on the course, assessment, preparation and skills feedback. The successful person will be required to have current supervised client work and a desire to teach others embarking on their counselling training. They will also possess a Diploma in Counselling, knowledge of counselling approaches, particularly humanistic and specifically Person centered is required.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to undergo TAQA Assessors award. The Level 2 course is a mix of distance learning and classroom-based delivery. 18 weeks delivery and 2 weeks are learner reflective study.
