Lecturer/Assessor in Apprenticeships Plumbing, Heating and Gas
Role Information:
Reference: REQ001117
Location: Filton or H38 Campus
FTE Salary: up to £38,718.00 per annum, plus £5,000 annual market supplement to recognise the Level 3 qualification (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent and Full-Time
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

SGS College’s Construction Apprenticeship Department have an exciting opportunity for a Gas, Plumbing and Heating Lecturer/Assessor to join SGS College. Are you interested in passing on your skills and knowledge to the next generation of Construction Apprentices?
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support recruitment of construction engineering apprenticeships
- Responsibility for a cohort of construction engineering apprentices
- Secure repeat business from employers of apprentices
- Plan and support recording of the 20% off the job requirement
- Support the continued improvement SGS Apprenticeships
- Deliver the work-based element of the apprenticeships, including on-site training, assessment and reviews
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial relevant subject experience and occupational competence.
- Assessors Qualification (A1)
- Teaching Qualification (DTLLS).
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent
- Experience of required sector (plumbing, heating and gas engineering)
