Role Information:

Location: SGS WISE Campus

FTE Salary: up to £23,154.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hourly Rate: £13.92 per hour
Contract Type: Zero Hours, Claims, Fixed Term
Working Hours: Monday 3-6pm, Wednesday PM Fixtures, Friday 8-12am

The main purpose of this role is to plan, deliver and review sessions within the SGS Sport Academy. The role includes responsibility both team and individual development through yearly planning and supporting Individual Player Development through the SGS Sport IDP programme. Based on applications the successful application will either work within the Female Basketball provision or Male Basketball 2nd team.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supporting coaching within the Basketball Academy provision for 16-19 year olds
  • Supporting holistic athlete development in collaboration with coaches, Strength and Conditioning coaches and Physios.
  • Supporting all athletes to develop through the SGS Sport Individual Development Plan programme.
  • Supporting with the Bristol Flyers Community Club run and operated by SGS College

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Level 2 Basketball England Coaching Award
  • First Aid Qualification
  • Safeguarding Qualification
  • Knowledge of performance and participation Basketball
  • A commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
