Apprenticeship Summary
Duties and responsibilities.
On the job training will be provided by the Managing Director to grow your knowledge of procedures and all brands within the business
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Managing and updating company databases
- Assisting with company events
- Assisting with the running of payroll and distributing payroll documentation
- You will be expected to manage your own workload and apprenticeship course effectively
The apprenticeship includes several educational visits or meetings to assess your learning in the workplace, as well as course work to be submitted to the chosen College. The course will include details on developing a marketing campaign, personal and business finances, managing an event, principles of management, business decision-making, team building in business and employment law.

Apprentices must achieve level 1 English and maths and take the test for level 2 prior to taking their EPA.
Before the shortlisting process, applicants will complete an online assessment for English and maths to determine if they have the accepted minimum level. These assessments will be arranged by SGS College.
Future prospects
The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.

Annual Leave: 22 days annual leave per year plus 8 days bank and public holidays.
Probation: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of 6 months’ probationary period.
Notice Period: The notice period for this post is 1 month.
Staff: Staff are required to participate in reasonable arrangements for development.

The 7 mandatory units making up this qualification are listed below. In addition, learners will be required to select one relevant optional unit.
The standard is assessed by a range of methods to meet all the knowledge, skills and behaviours. Evidence will be collated within a portfolio of evidence.
To achieve the full Level 3, all units of the Diploma must be passed, meeting the assessment criteria. College attendance for the delivery of the Diploma is mandatory for all apprentices.
