Job Reference 1643523Apprentice ResourcerThe key purpose of a Dovetail & Slate Resourcer is to support the office performance. This is done by helping consultants and managers with daily non-sales related and administrative tasks. They will also be communicating with candidates and clients delivering an excellent level of service.
Duties including but not limited to
Fostering close working relationships with candidates to identify their potential
To understand fully the needs of a role and help with the process of placing said applicant
Obtaining referrals and leads from candidates
Sourcing candidates through direct advertising, job boards, social media and referrals
Registering and interviewing candidates to evaluate their skills, experience and relevance for a vacancy
Matching candidates and assigning their skill set to temporary or permanent roles
Building a Dream Team of candidates to keep warm for future potential roles
Writing accurate and engaging candidate profiles
Helping candidates with editing CV’s
General administrative tasks
Full use of Microsoft Packages including Teams and Outlook
An ability to build and engage online communities and social media
Excellent communications skills – both written and verbally
A genuine aptitude for customer service
An assiduous nature
Resilience and flexibility
Apprentices must achieve level 1 English and maths and take the test for level 2 prior to taking their EPA.
Before the shortlisting process, applicants will complete an online assessment for English and maths to determine if they have the accepted minimum level. These assessments will be arranged by SGS College.

Things to consider
There will be ongoing at desk training and at the six month point each Resourcer will have the potential of a full-time consultant contract depending on achievements.
Commission – Consultants will be working jobs on a daily basis and regularly need help with them. If a consultant chooses to use a Resourcer they will give 10% of their commission for that service.

Each apprentice will be assigned a dedicated skills coach who will support them in completing their Portfolio and preparing for the End Point Assessment (EPA). The Employer, Training Provider and the learner will decide when the learner is ready to enter the Apprenticeship Gateway. The skills coach will help prepare the learner to ensure they are confident to complete all components.
The skills coach will schedule regular 1:1s and complete progress reviews with the apprentice’s Line Manager/Employer at 8 – 12-week intervals.
