Apprenticeship Summary

We are looking for an apprentice administrator to work with in the Bristol City Council contract, to assist and learn from the existing team of four administrators and managers,

  • Accurate inputting of information on IMS database or other reports
  • Dealing with sub-contractors and raising orders when necessary
  • Assisting in the collation of monthly reports with the other BCC Administrators
  • General administrative tasks as necessary when required
  • The Apprentice Administrator may be required to carry out other duties as and when required by their Line Manager

Main working relationships: Management Helpdesk Team, Engineering Staff, Clients and the Finance Team.

From April 2020, the National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices £4.15 per hour.  This applies to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18-year olds is a priority and fully funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
