You will be working on campaigns for social media, keeping web content updated and helping colleagues use the museum channels. The post is based at Bristol Museum but there will be remote working.
You will be working in a Digital Team maintaining content for Bristol Museums enabling visitors to access on line services. The role will involve:
Keeping web content up to date using wordpress
Proofreading and editing content to meet accessibility and search engine optimisation
Coordinating meetings and following web procedures
Promoting museum activities and products
Monitoring social media campaigns
Formatting multimedia for online use
Occassional help to other departments (special events)

The Digital Team maintain and edit content for bristolmuseums.org.uk and related websites and social media. We play a key role in enabling visitors to access online services including virtual exhibitions buying tickets, donating, interacting on social media and visiting the online shop.
Digital Marketer Level 3 standard and Functional Skills Maths and English (for apprentices that do not have GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English)
Training will include elements of taught delivery and on the job training with a dedicated skills coach. You will acquire the following knowledge in Content strategy, Google analytics, Google ads, Marketing channels, SEO and social media marketing.
