Half term community fair shows off Gloucestershire’s newest learning centre with a day of fun and interactive activities
The new SGS Berkeley Green campus, due to launch in September, will open its doors on June 1st for a half-term Community Fair packed with exciting activities and workshops for prospective students and community members alike.
Come along and see why local businesses are getting excited about Gloucestershire’s newest learning centre, backed by a £30million investment aimed at learners wishing to study engineering, manufacturing, construction, digital technologies and cyber security.
The day will also offer the opportunity to view the campus, as well as a number of fun and exciting activities such as archery, a climbing wall and various sports and health activities. If archery and climbing isn’t your thing however, workshops on engineering and cyber security will also be on offer for anyone wanting to get a first-hand taste of what the new campus will offer when it opens its doors later in the year.
George Ridd, site director at Berkeley Green is looking forward to welcoming prospective students and the wider community to the fair, saying: “It’ll be a great day for people to come down and see what we’re about and what makes Berkeley Green so unique, and it promises to be a fun packed day with the activities we have planned. We wanted to offer a great day out to anyone interested in the new campus, so we’re really looking forward to it – the archery and climbing wall will be a big highlight, as will the engineering and cyber security based activities!”
