Foundation Degree Exhibition in central Bristol

SGS College’s Foundation Degree (FdA) in Creative Practice students will be showcasing their final work in an exhibition to be held at Centrespace Gallery in central Bristol.

Work on display will showcase the talents of the College’s second year students who are completing their Foundation degrees in Graphic Design, Fashion and Photography.

Jo Kear, Head of Department at Bristol School of Art, Queens Road Campus, comments: “This exhibition is the culmination of two years of intensive study at the Bristol School of Art, WISE Campus and will bear testimony to the students’ hard work and creative skills.

“We are looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible to the show to join in this celebration of our students’ achievements.”

The preview will run from 6-8:30pm on Monday 9th June. The show is open Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th June, 10:00am-4:00pm. On Tuesday 11th the College will also be holding an open portfolio day at Centrespace for anyone interested in studying an FdA course starting this September. There are still spaces available for FdA Graphic Design, FdA Fashion and Textiles, FdA Photography and FdA Fine Art (which will run at our Bristol School of Art, Queens Road campus).

Many students will continue their studies in the autumn at UWE where they will complete a third year “top up” to their existing FdA qualification and graduate with a full BA in Graphic Design, Fashion or Photography.
