There are a number of different ways SGS can help students who need additional support to overcome barriers to their learning, whether these barriers are caused by learning difficulties, physical ability or missed educational opportunities. We believe in equal opportunities for all students, so whatever your ability, at SGS we provide the support you need to succeed.
Learning support at SGS can help students with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger’s syndrome and other learning difficulties. We can provide specialist in-class support with literacy and numeracy, skills development sessions, testing and assessment for exam concessions, and assistive technologies such as text-help and dictation software. We can also provide you with the study skills you need to organise your coursework and plan assignments.
Our support teams have close links with course tutors to ensure you get the help you need to succeed at college.
