SGS College to host Ambitions Plus 2016

On February 16th SGS WISE Campus will welcome over 2,000 sixth formers and level three college students, from all South Gloucestershire Schools, for Ambitions 2016.

The students will have the opportunity to meet over 60 employers and training providers to explore careers options and progression opportunities.

The event will also include seven exciting seminars on topics relevant to 17 year olds such as starting your own business, the emerging careers in the West of England and Higher Apprenticeship opportunities.

The event is generously supported by the University of Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire council's Economic development Unit and SGS College.

John Walker, Head of Schools Engagement at SGS College, said: “It is an exciting environment for learners, where they are able to explore so many different avenues under one roof. Employers' advice and inspiration on making relevant choices at this stage is vital.”
