How will I learn?
Sessions will be a mixture of theory and practical lessons, and, wherever possible, underpinning theory will also be demonstrated in a practical context. There will be a variety of assessment methods used (such as written assessments, observations, presentations and discussions), and learners will gain a thorough understanding of the evidence they are expected to produce.
How will I know how I am doing?
Learners will be assigned a personal tutor, who, alongside other delivery staff on the programme, will monitor progress on the course in relation to work submission, attendance, behaviour and punctuality as well as progress against a learner's individual targets. Learners will receive feedback from delivery staff regarding their assessments and will also meet regularly with their personal tutor on a one-to-one basis to review progress and ensure that the required progression can be met.
Are there any extra costs?
Learners will be charged materials fees, which will be used to purchase resources for the learners to use on the course. Any additional education trips will be priced individually during the course.
What can I do next?
