Part time course
Part-time at either Stroud Campus, GL11 Community Hub, APT (Stonehouse) or The Churn (Cirencester). 2 hours a week for up to 36 weeks at various days and times.
APT (Stonehouse) - Monday 18:00-20:00, starting on 04/09/17.
GL11 Community Hub - Tuesday 10:00-12:00, starting on Tuesday 05/09/17.
The Churn (Cirencester) - Wednesday 10:00-12:00, starting on Wednesday 06/09/17.
Stroud Campus - Wednesday 18:00-20:00, starting on Wednesday 06/09/17.
Is this course for me?
Yes, if you would like to improve your maths skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification in maths.
What are the entry requirements?
None. You will attend an individual interview and initial assessment to determine the most appropriate group and qualification for you to ensure that you study at an achievable level.
What will I do on this course?
You will brush up your skills and cover topics including working with numbers, understanding fractions, decimals and percentages, working with metric measures, understanding graphs, charts and data. Topics will be taught using everyday examples.
What qualification can I get?
Functional Skills Maths at a range of levels from Entry Level through to Level 2, as appropriate for you.
What can I do after this programme?
When you have completed Level 2, you may progress to AQA Maths GCSE. Information, advice and guidance are available to all students to help them decide what to do next.
