Risk assessment is a careful examination of anything in your workplace that could cause harm to people.
Risk assessments do not have to be complicated creating huge amount s of paperwork but should be about identifying sensible measures to control risks in the workplace.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for anyone who has responsibility for carrying out a risk assessment of their workplace. The person who carries out the risk assessment is named the ‘competent person’ and this can be the business owner, a manager, a supervisor or anyone else within the business who has the necessary knowledge and experience.

Introduction to Risk Assessment
Identifying the hazards
Reducing the likelihood of harm
Recording, reviewing and revising the risk assessment
This course is a half day course using a mixture of lectures, interactive exercises, practical examples and videos. On completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of attendance from SGS College.
