Awareness in Principles of Manual Handling

Almost one third of reportable accidents result from handling, lifting and carrying activities. 

Manual handling injuries can happen anywhere people are at work – on farms and building sites, in factories, offices, warehouses, hospitals, banks, laboratories, and while making deliveries. The cost to employers of injuries to the workforce from poor or careless practices is high.

This is a non- accredited compliance course.

This course is aimed at employers, employees and safety representatives.

Course Details

This is a half day course using a mixture of lectures, interactive exercises, practical demonstrations and videos. On completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of attendance from SGS College.
