What is the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification?
The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) - (SCQF Level 6) offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology.
Who is this qualification for?
It is for those wishing to gain a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. No prior knowledge or experi-ence is required for this qualification, which will offer the individual the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project. The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), formerly known as Introductory Certificate (IC), syllabus assesses the key elements of the project manage-ment life cycle and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge, including planning and scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, project risk management and project reviews.
How is it assessed?
Assessment is through a 60 question, multiple choice examination, taken over 1 hour. The examination is available online either in a classroom with your accredited provider or on your own premises utilising our remote live proctor. You can book your examination at a time to suit you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 360 days a year.
