Part time course
The class, seated on a chair, is designed for people who may find traditional yoga classes unsuitable because of impaired mobility, or those who simply enjoy a gentle, meditative class.
Seated Yoga poses tend to be energetically grounding and focus more on flexibility than strength. You will be encouraged to take the movements and intensity at your own pace, adapting where needed.
Seated yoga will:
Improve proprioception - Proprioception is the skill of knowing where your body is in space, and coordinating your movements accurately.
